1991 ranger shifting

i have a 1991 ford ranger with a 4.0 L, a4ld transmission that all of the sudden will not shift into overdrive,all of the rest are fine .any sugestions??

Try checking out your OD sensor. Check the wires first, then maybe try replacing the sensor. You also might be able to find an error code if you scan your computer.
