Broken Speedo =*(

So I was driving to this chicks house, and I come to a stop, and the speedometer needle falls straight down. Stayed that way for awhile, but later on in the night it started moving counter clock wise as i slowed down to a stop. And then as I accellerate, it goes to pointing straight down, but will go counterclock wise as I slow down. For example, if I go 50 mph, it will go till it points straight down, and when i slow down to a stop, it'll go back up however far 50mph is from the straight down point. Hope that explains it good. =D

Re: Broken Speedo =*(

Simple solution - Buy a custom gauge cluster from Blackcatcustom.com

Re: Broken Speedo =*(

but honestly...it's probably like a speed sensor or something, so that might not fix the problem....hmmmm

Re: Broken Speedo =*(

Err...exactly what I was thinking

Replace the VSS. I'm guessing a custom cluster wouldn't do anything b/c that's has nothing to do with the VSS.

Re: Broken Speedo =*(

=D it fixed itself... I have no clue how, cept everytime I turned on the car, the needle would jump down bout 5 mph and then start from there as if it was 0. Soooo, I just kept turning it on and off till it reached zero, and BOOM!, perfect working speedometer again. I was thinkin bout getting a new one, but they are kinda expensive for someone trying to save up for a turbo kit... =D Oh well, im glad its fixed and i dont gotta spend nuthin.
