Charging System problem
Recently, in my 1987 Dodge D100 with a 318 cu. in. engine, the charging system stopped working. I replaced the alternator, but it is still not charging as I'm only getting about 11.5 to 12.0 volts on a multimeter hooked up to the battery. I'm starting to suspect that the voltage regulator is not working. Any ideas?

Re: Charging System problem
It turned out to be the voltage regulator.
