Lame tranny question.
I'm embarassed to even ask this, but I've never really dealt with it on my car, or anyone elses for that matter, lol. But how do you check the tranny fluid on the 420A's tranny? I know some cars have dipstick or resevoirs, but I can't find either. I remember hearing something like you can't check it, only drain it out. Also, theres this little resevoir on the driver's side of the engine bay, its to the right of the brake fluid resevoir and its really small, what is that?
Sorry for sounding like a 16 year old newb

Re: Lame tranny question.
Is your tranny a 5 speed? If so, that resevoir is for your clutch. As for checking your tranny level, take out the side fill plug and put your finger in and see if the fluid is to the bottom of the hole.

Re: Lame tranny question.
Thank blackcrow, I kinda guessed that was for the clutch, but I wanted to be sure.
I'm just gonna drain the tranny and put some BG syncromesh in there. Here's a useful link just incase anybody else searches for the same question. http://vfaq.com/mods/wayback/BradBau...rannyoils.html

Re: Lame tranny question.
Good call. You will be very happy with the BG syncromesh as opposed to other tranny fluids.
