Pixelbattle is now a little short on active members, so we have to advertise about the site.

It's an RPG game, meaning that you don't actually play, it's a forum where you have to post every action. You start out with $15,000, then you have to buy a car, get a job and perhaps a sponsor.

The cars are small, MS paint-made pixelcars and we have a large selection of cars. Tune your car to immense levels and race other players.
You don't actually race them, but a "judge" writes a story about the race, telling you what happened.

If you win a race or car show, you can get money, or "rep". If you get "rep", posts will be added to your account. The more posts you have, the more respect and benefits you get.

Here is an example of a typical pixel car. Let's say you go into the Nissan dealership with $140,000 and you want a Skyline R34 GT-R. This is what you will find:


PRICE: 20,400

Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec | HP: 340 | W: 3280 | Damage: 0/10 | 4WD


So you make a post. "Buying Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec. 140,000 - 20,400 = $119,600". Then you put the picture of the car and the stats in your signature, along with your moneycount and other things.


Here is an example of what your sig should look like:

Number of cars: 1

The stats are made up like this:
Car name | Engine power in HP | Weight (lbs) | Damage (in case the car is crashed) | On what wheels the power is deployed | In some cases NOS shots


When you want a job, you post in the jobs thread and wait for someone to accept it. Once you have a job, you get money every Friday by posting in the "payment" thread.


When you feel that the power of your car isn't enough (should happen instantly ), you can go into one of the user controlled speedshops here on pixelbattle. Let's say you go into the shop called "Shifty Car Imports" (which is my shop). You have your R34 and you want a larger turbo.

Enter the Turbo Systems thread, here you will find many diffirent boosting alternatives. Since the R34 GT-R is turbocharged from the very beginning, you don't have to buy the entire package of things, a new turbine and an intercooler should be enough.

So you want drivabilty but still a fair amount of power, you select this turbo.


HKS T51R SPL Turbo 11PSI
This is one of the most used and well known turbochargers. If your looking for mild powergains with good streetmanners look no further then this turbo. This turbo pumps out 11PSI of hardcore boost. This turbo can have a twin configuration. Requires HKS wastegates
HP: +160HP $4000
This can be purchased without any major engine modifications. The only thing required for this is an external oil cooler and intercooler and all of the plumbing associated with it.


This turbo alone should give your RB26DETT engine much power, but it's suffocating! You need fresh air! The way to solve this:

HKS Intercooler
This intercooler can handle the big boys, its cooling power is second to none.
HP: +45 $1000

So... 1000 + 4000 = $5000
119,600 - 4000 = $115,600

340 + 160 + 50 = 550 HP


So now your sig should look like this:

Number of cars: 1
Money: $115,600
Job: Manager, McDonalds
Sponsor: GReddy, Pioneer

There is also visual tuning, you can buy done bodykits and throw them on or post in one of the custom works threads. Here the shop owners tune your cars appearance for an amount of cash, or you can tune it yourself, post the pic of the tuned car and get a quote for it.

This seems like a really cool idea, but I'm still trying to figure out how the whole thing works.
