It *should* fit . You can fit an intercooler behind the front bumper, so I see no reason that shouldn't fit as it is unlikely to be bigger than an intercooler.

Mind you, that location seems a little questionable, as it will get absolutely soaked when it is raining. Any spray from the car in front generally ends up on the front of your car.... and that means all over the intake.

Also, it is worth remembering that the "cold air" part of a CAI is only part of the reason for the increased performance. The tubing plays a big part in the performance increase too.

If you can fit an intercooler, I'm sure that would fit in its place.

Better watch out for puddles though!

The front has a shield to protect from road debris, air is normally sucked from the rear.

If you want you can remove the plastic shield for a RAM-air effect

only problem is, the filter can be purchased as a universal fitment but the pipework will have to be fabricated. It costs a bomb though, just for that filter.

i'll let you go first, im gonna wait till he finds out a price for the stillen header. If we purchase at the sametime, we might get a better price, saves him importing things seperately.

I don't think I will go for the full CAI....wot I might do...or get done is to convert the Rubber pipe b4 the MAF to a metal tube....this should hopefully help air flow better then the rubber one....
