Buying 2.4l engine

Ok, I blew the motor up in my 2001 Z24 cavy... so, i need a new one, if anyones got one with relatively low miles, or knows where i can get one, id like to buy one... for those of you that dont know, the 99-01 2.4l engine is different from the previous 2.4l engine, (99 they changed the stroke and got rid of the EGR valve and a few other minor modifications) so it must be a 99-01 2.4l engine

Thanks for your help

Re: Buying 2.4l engine

Gooood luck.....these Quad 4 2.4s.....blow easily......2.2's got the head gaskets, 2.4's got the blow up :-), get used to it, my car is in need of an engine, mine is clicking louder and louder everyday, and is almost had its final breath, oh, if I didn't mention, 3rd engine in this car.....2.4L 97 Z24........which proves my point they blow easily. Try your local scrapyard, I got one held at mine and its gonna cost me 800 CAD

...or maybe it's because each engine you replace has more miles on it then the last one
