One more thing.
What do you think about the upcoming tamiya R34 v-spec II and the metallic plated edition model?

Welcome to AF! Where in the US do you live, and do you ahve access to a credit card? (NOTE: NOT asking for the number! )

Most of us have had great results with HobbyLink Japan, as well as some others listed in the FAQ at the top of the forum...

R34 Nismo appears to be available at: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/plamo/

Otherwise... I guess it's time to hit up Mr. eBay...

Wink R's

The Spec II is a cool car, but do we really need plated bodies?

To me that's headed down the slippery slope of toy like models, like opening doors, motorized etc.

I smell some Fujimism in Tamiya, that is to leave the job half done. Of course, the fit and overall quality of Tamiya kit is far better, adding just Nismo wheel and air intake sounds very familiar in Fujimi kits. Why not Nismo R34, with all those aero parts, but just wheels? And I'm hoping Tamiya to include LM-GT4 wheel, because we don't have the wheel kit of it yet, and Tamiya quality is always welcomed.
