vehicle speed sensor
I have a 96 Sable with the duratec 24v motor and AX4N transmission. How hard is to change the VSS and can you give me a lil info on how to do it? Thank you for your help.

Hi, Unless you are REALLY mechanically inclined and have the proper tools, I would suggest you pay the 1.5 hr labor rate to replace it. It can be done from the top of the engine compartment, with a 1/4 inch drive ratchet, extensions, and 10mm flex sockett, Plus a bit of playing contortionist, and getting your hands nicked up a bit, Good Luck, Clay.
