EX Tire Size?

everywhere I've read, it says that the original tiresize on the EX was 175/65-14. Yesterday I went and bought a pair of snowtires on rims and found out that the tires on mine are 13 inchers. I got the 14s swapped for a pair of 13s but I'm still interested in finding out why I'd have 13s. Does anyone know if the Canadian versions of the EX were different from the US verisons in regard to tire size?

Re: EX Tire Size?

i know y canadian dx came with the 13" tires, while all of the 92-95 ex's i have had were made in america and all had 14" it may be a minute possibility that someone had to replace the rims and put 13's on there as replacements although with the backspacing i can swear i think they'd rub.

Re: EX Tire Size?

Several I've seen had the 13s. I think it was the early ones only.

Re: EX Tire Size?

Thanks for the posts everyone, I think I've figured it out. It seems as if the Canadian EX had the 13 inch wheels while the US verison has the regular 14s, all this according to the manual which I should have read more closely lol

Re: EX Tire Size?

My 92 LX has and came with 13's Came with a 175/70/R13 but at the time pepboys only had 185/70/R13's so thats what I'm using now. A little wider but no rubbing at ALL. I took off my LS rims due to me bending my front rims on a NASTY dip which had NO warning signs.. If you only saw all the scrapes and chunks missing from the ground from many cars doing the same. 2 other 92's I've seen also have 13's. I live in FL by the way
