Lights are burning out
I have a 00' intrigue sterling edition and I just noticed that acouple of light have burnt out, like the volume on the steering wheel, both light for the heated seats, and now the red arrow for the heater for the driver side (just the red nit the green). Can anyone tell me how hard it is to fix and if there are any links you can give me to show me how to do it?
Thx to everyone who replies. BuCkWiLd75 |

Re: Lights are burning out
It's possible to replace them, but it's a real pain, as you have to actually take apart any of the devices that have the burned out lights.

Re: Lights are burning out
My dash lights behind the speedometer will go dim sometimes. I rap it with my knuckle to get em to kick back in. The same thing happened to my button for the electric fuel door button. I kept punching it till the light kicked back in.
By the way, does the trunk release button have a light? I'm wondering if its a safety issue that GM wouldn't put a light in it so you wouldn't be tempted to hit it while driving even though it's locked out anyways. What about the gear selecter in the middle console? Is that supposed to be lit too? Sorry to hijack your thread. |
