Electrical?

I was checking my wiper blades as they hane a mind of thier own didn"t fix them yet not sure what the problem is, but the reason I'm posting is after I checked them stepped into truck and shut the door all my guages jumped went to start and everything is very dim radio wont turn on and whether I have the key in or not I can turn the ignition all the way forward and back. And I did just replace the ignition switch about 2 months ago could it be the ignition itself. Please help I'm on vacation and go back to work in a couple of days and need my ride.
Thanks for any help

I would do a battery check and cable end clean and check first.
Check all grounds and neg wires.
If you have a volt meter check battery voltage and then check all batery feeds.
What year is it?
Are you sure your battery is not low or dead?
The wipers may be a pulse board problem or just the voltage problem you have.

The 97 has a lot of ign switch probems.
But start at battery and check for 13 volts and work back to ign switch.
Make sure battery is up good. A godod full charged battery will read 13.6 volts.
Look for a voltage lose from battery back to switch.
And do not overlook grounds.
The wiper pulse board is in the front of the wiper motor plastic plate.
But the pulse board is only a wiper problem.
Fix the power lose first.
Let us know how it goes.
