safe?

is it safe to jack the front of the caprice up by the cross member rather than jacking each side?
i know on some cars it is sturdy enough, but not on others.
just wondering.

Re: safe?

I do it everytime I change my oil so I can get under the car. No problems.

Re: safe?

Yes, the front crossmember is quite sturdy on these cars.

Re: safe?

cool wasnt sure. i've been using ramps, but as i only have two, it would be nice to use them on the back and jack up the front.
