Question 92-95 Civic Hatchback Rear Speaker Brackets?

Hello, I bought a 92 Civic Si Hatchback a couple weeks ago and picked up some stereo components a couple days ago. Upon inspecting the situation behind the removable rear speaker panels, I discovered that there is nothing between the panel and the sheetmetal. I'm assuming that there is a stock speaker bracket that fits into this location that has either been removed or wasn't provided with the car. Any information on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Graydon

Yeah, you can get the speaker mounts/grilles at AHMotor I believe. But yeah there is a meta/plastic bracket to hold the speaker and then a palstic baffle on top. Do a search in this forum I believe, there's like a 2-page thread on it and I posted pics of mine

Aha...

I have the covers with the grille, it's the actual mounting bracket that I'm lacking... Were these brackets ever supplied with the cars as OEM equipment? I drove out of town to a scrapyard in search of them with no luck (although I scored a manual sunroof crank that I was missing...) and I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time searching. Do you remember how much they were? And I'm assuming this is an American company and I'm going to have to shell out exhorbitant amounts of Canadian cash to get it delivered up here...

*Sigh*

Well, I just got an email back from a guy at AH Motorsport... Apparently the hatchback brackets are no longer available. I shudder to think of what Honda is charging for them...

Any other ideas?

Sorry man, you might want to check other parts companies like hondaparts.com and/or call those wholesale parts companies. You're never gonna find them in junkyards cause they're just so rare.

Or try this:
