1988 mustang dies on decell

Good Morning gentalmen,

i am stuck with an 88 mustang ,2.3 efi.man. trans.
the car dies on decell. it will idle all day, untill i rev and hold it at 2-3k rpm, then release the throttle, it will then start missing at about 1200 rpm then continue to run worse untill it stalls. this happens when i come to a light/stop sign.

the car will then restart fine and idle about 1200 for a few seconds, then resume normal idle and work fine untill the next timei need to stop.

items replaced::
long block,t-belt.injectors,coolant temp sensor,map sensor,plugs /wire set/cap-n-rotor.

items tried: ecm,iac motor,bypassed/blocked egr valve

fuel pressure is about 30-35 lbs, ig timing it set at 10 deg. with spout removed,

i have had other problems with codes and seem to have that fixed.

any sugguestions ,ideas, comments would be greatly appriecated.

( name calling is o.k. too )

thank you for your time

Re: 1988 mustang dies on decell

Thank you for your reply..

i did replace the intake gst with the long block repair.
i have tried to spray carb cleaner all over the intake area,as well as the vac. tree. also around the char.canistor and connecting lines.

no effect there.

it does seem to be a fuel issue at idle/decell.
by the way i did try another ig.module

another source of info i tried told me to watch the o2 voltage during the problem.
it really stayed .3-.5 volts ,back and forth.

after restart it will idle smoothly untill a decell cycle
im sure im missing something yet i just don't see it
again ,,thank you for your time
