Rear Hatch
The handle on the reat hatch of my 2002 Montana has broken. Does anyone know, besides the dealer, where I might get a replacement?

Re: Rear Hatch
May be you can try auto wreckers. You might be lucky.

Re: Rear Hatch
I replaced mine ('97 Venture) way back in 2000 and it was only $12 from the dealer (boy was I surprised!), so you might just check it out. That said, it only lasted a couple more years before the new one broke! I just took it off and haven't replaced it; lately I have been thinking of making my own strap to go between the stock "brackets", but I have yet to figure out what to use that would be stronger than the apparently wimpy stock rubber-like stuff.

Re: Rear Hatch
I replaced mine in my 2000 with a piece of boat canvas. I folded it 4 times to make it nice and thick, then wrapped it around the stock adapter and sewed it allong the edge. Works perfect and is very strong. I have used it to tie the rear down when something was too big to fit inside!
