Teeth Whitening Strips

Which have you had the best luck with?

I'm not counting the dentist whitening.

Re: Teeth Whitening Strips

never used them, i'd rather get my brother-in-law to do it for me once he graduates dentistry and has a few years under his belt.

Re: Teeth Whitening Strips

I have been a smoker for 9 years and I recently quit. Its been 2 months now (I'm proud). So I decided to try the crest whitening strips because my teeth were not looking good. I had noticed one day in the mirror and was discussed. So I bought the premium ones. And I will swear by it. Half way through my teeth were looking great by the end I couldnt believe how much of a differnce that had produced. A few weeks later I visited my parents and without saying anything they noticed. My girl also was amazed. My teeth werent GROSS but they werent super model white they looked like coffee smoker teeth nothing to be proud of. But yes I would recommend trying it out its cheap and will produce results.

Re: Teeth Whitening Strips

Just brush your teeth regularly. It's not hard.

But if you are a coffee/tea drinker it still won't keep your teeth white. My teeth use to be quite white for only brushing, but once I started drinking coffee/tea all the time they started looking a little bad.

I've only used the Crest so I was more curious as if anyone liked one over the other. I think I may try rembrant next go round just to see.

Re: Teeth Whitening Strips

I tried the Crest Whitestrips Premium about a year ago. A few days in, my teeth started to really ache. It got to the point where I was dreading the next time I would use the strips, so I threw about half the kit out. Did work a little bit though, for the limited amount I used them. I don't have overly sensitive teeth or anything either, and I do brush twice a day and don't drink coffee/tea, they just for some reason have a little discolor to them and always have. I would recommend you try it though.

I don't drink coffee or smoke so my teeth are pretty white.

Re: Teeth Whitening Strips

the reason your teeth were aching (according to my brother in-law in dentistry) is because of the hydrogen peroxide, which is what is doing most of the whitening. it isn't permanent and stops after you stop using the strips (as you've probably found). the dentist whitening will do the same thing.

Re: Teeth Whitening Strips

I've tried the crest strips and got alot of sharp pains in my teeth, I also found that I didn't see a big difference with them.

I like the crest night effects paste. If you can deal with putting the paste on and leaving it on all night as instructed, I found that after 2-3 nights you will see a big difference.

Yeah, it really wasn't worth the pain. I may have to try out the Night Effects though, since knorwj had a similar experience with the whitestrips and liked that. I think I can put up with a little discomfort while sleeping for a few days.

You have to keep the strips on for 30 min guys why is everone crying. Try not putting most of it on your GUMS and you wont feel that sting feeling.

Re: Teeth Whitening Strips

it's that they make your teeth really sensitive for a few days or whatever afterwards.

Obviously, you haven't experienced it then. Stop acting tough when you have no idea what your talking about. Everyone has different experiences with different products, we were just giving ours. You may not have this problem, that dosn't mean we didn't. I did the procedure correctly, that wasn't the reason it hurt.
