Turbo

i have a 100% stock 2rz in my truck, and i was just thinking that i want some more power. i was thinking that a small turbo would be nice. my questiong is..... would that motor be able to handle 8 or 10lbs of boost. i want a good size inercooler and i relize that the fuel system will need some tweeking. so will it work or will it just not take it? i am also trying to decide if i want to go for a trd supercharger or the turbo. just need a little help. thanks for anything

Re: Turbo

The blower is pretty much ready to go. All you need is a fuel kit to go with. The turbo system will have to be custom made.

Re: Turbo

With proper fuel tuning, 8-10 is reasonable. The decision you need to make is what system to go with. Personally, I prefer blowers to turbos on street driven vehicles. The blower helps out at the low end, which is where the engine spends most of its time, and small motors need the most help.
