This is ridiculous. I'm at a fucking university, where everyone is an adult, and they've somehow managed to block every porn site known to man.

What happened to the land of the free? Doesn't this count as taking away my personal freedoms?

I don't even want to watch porn anymore, I'm so frustrated...this is SO STUPID!!

I don't know how long they've been doing it for. I know they said something about it at the beginning of the year, but I thought, "No way....They can't possibly de-porn the internet."

if its on their machines, then it makes sense.
if they blocked it on their wireless network and highspeed network so you cant see it on yur own machine, then its a little extreme, but still understandable, as large amounts of porn floating around their campus just looks bad.

If you're connecting to the internet through a university provided service to you for free, they can block anything they want since they're paying for it.

They probably have all the illegal download sites blocked too.

You can't exactly complain about that which you're getting for free.
