Perfoamce upgrades

hey all, i'm a little new to internals, so here goes...i bought my 93 lt1 camaro w/ a newly rebuilt motor....looking over the work order, heres what was done in addition to a complete rebuild:

Cam:
Intake @ cam .300 @ valve .450
exhaust @ cam .308 @ valve .462

Rocker Arms: 1.6

Springs: 3200 PBM

Can anyone break down what these mods do performance wise? I understand what the componants are to the engine, but what kinda power does this give? As in, what advantages in what power band do i get here? Also, what kinda setup does this kinda work lead into later on for me? I'm currently planning a full exhaust....long tubes, 3" x-pipe into glasspacks (for now). I have made a custom 3" straight thru CAI w/ ram air effect from the underside of the nose...already...

Thanks for any info anyone can give....

also, I am reading this was a 14.4 sec car stock, I bought it at about 14.0 and my CAI stuff brought me down to 13.7...is this a possible sub 13 car w/ the exhaust planned and a new set of street tires? What kinda cam is this? Mild? agressive?

thanks again,
Tim

Re: Perfoamce upgrades

I don't think you'll make it into the 12's with just the exhaust, but that combined with a shift kit, gear swap, and some drag radials in the back just might do the trick. Some head and manifold work would be a good idea also.

Re: Perfoamce upgrades

your cam is pretty decent. does it have just a little bit of lope at idle? sounds like the motor probably runs pretty strong. i dunno much about LS1's but i'd assume there are aftermarket intake manifolds out there that spank the stock version. also i would look into possibly one of them programmer thingamabobers, but they are expensive ive heard (i wouldn't know since i mostly just work on my carbureted crap lol)
