Re: Can I install factory fogs on my 97 stratus?

I have done it to my girlfriends 97 Stratus, and it is a little bit of a pain. First off, you will need to get a bumper cover off of one that has them, usually the ES model will have them. But you will also have to take the wiring harness for the headlights and the steering column out of the donor car as well as the relay and relay hook ups and the multi-function blinker switch as the fog lamp control is built right into your headlight/blinker/wiper switch. Then it is a matter of removing your wiring, switch, relay/fuse box under the hood and wiring it up. So my suggestion to you would be to get a set of aftermarkets that fit close to the holes, fabricate up some mounts for them and run a simple wiring harness for them. And if you want to make them work like factory where they only turn on with the low beams and shut off on high beams, just hook into the low beam wire back near the relay/fuse box and make sure to weather proof the connection.
