i think so too but why downgrade? why not save up for a b series and get more power and potential?

Re: thinking of a DOHC

Yeah, there aren't many upgrades available for the dohc zc engine, and it only has 130hp. Where the D16Z6 ('92-'95 Si & EX engine) has 125hp, the D16Y8 ('96-'00 EX) has 127hp, and the jdm D15B has 130hp. And all of those have plenty of aftermarket parts available for them.

Most upgrades are interchangable for those engines

Re: thinking of a DOHC

if your going to get the zc, then, dont waste your time. go pick up a z6 or y8 instead. if you are new to the swap world, the z6 would be easier of a swap for you.

otherwise, look into a different b motor.
