Exclamation Windshield Wiper broke form being stuck on ice!

I did a stupid thing one morning last week failed unstuck my wipers when we had a dusting of snow. The snow melted and caused them to get stuck. I turned on the wipers and one went up, and the other one didn't. Now, that one will not go up with the other one. The good thing is, it is not electrical, but a mechanical thing.

I just do not know how to get to them!!! Anyone know how??

not too familiar with your generation car... but see if you can remove the cowl panelwhere the wiper arms go into...

you might want to try and see if you can tighten the bolt that holds the wiper arm down first, before you go looking deeper. Maybe the ice caused it to stick just enough where the bolt became loose when you pulled on it. I had both of my wipers do that when I first got it, scared me until my friend just tightened it down for me

I finally had a chance to work on it and this worked. It is amazing sometimes how simple a fix can be. Sometimes we over analyze problems with cars and such. Before I found this site, I took it to the dealer to see what they thought and they gave me this big spill about the motor and the underworkings of the wipers...without even looking at the car!!! I am glad I have found the place. Thanks for your help.
