How much nitrous can a stock engine handle?

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how big of a shot of nitrouscan a stock B15 motor handle, becasuse I was thinking about investing some of my cash on a Venom computer controlled nitrous system. The only problem is that the least amount of Nitrous that is injected is a 55 shot.

Was that supposed to be a B16 motor? Anyway i have a D16Z6 in my 91 civic. I'm currently running 75 horse zex kit in it. How many miles do you have on it and how often do you plan to spray it when you hook it up? If your not on it all the time the B16 should be able to handle a 55 shot with no problem...

50% is typically the rule of thumbs on a stock well-running engine. That is for example...if your engine has 100 HP stock...a 50 shot should be safe if used correctly. 150HP=75 shot...etc. The B16 engine could definetely handle the 55 shot and then some if the nitrous is used correctly.

I wouldnt go with anything more than a 75 shot, until you reinforce your block and upgrade your internals.
