Intake bolts loose on 3.4 ????
Started to do head gaskets on my venture, all of the intake bolts were loose has anyone else had this experience.

Please don't take this wrong,are you serious?There never was a 3.4 that worked right when it came to the intake.Again,don't take that wrong,no bashing or pizzing contest wanted.

There have been problems reported with loose intake bolts. GM recommends replacing all of the bolts when you replace the intake gaskets. The new bolts are coated with threadlocker to ensure a better hold ( for lack of a better term) by the bolts. There is a wealth of information about this at the post on the top of this forum with tips and tricks and part numbers you'll need to do the job including the part numbers for the new bolts.
