Help finding a scoop

I'm starting in on my 1/12 '67 vette pro stock-ish car. I need a decent hood scoop for it though. The kit one's pretty squarish and small looking.

Does anyone make one that I could make work? I don't mind grafting it in. Does the 57 chevy come with a hood scoop? I know the camaro doesn't.

Thanks
Chris

Re: Help finding a scoop

depends on what kind of scoop. Are you looking for a pro stock style scoop, or a taller cowl induction?

Something like this one....

But really, just about anything other than the kit one would be great...it's just too small and square to get the look I want.

Do you know of something available?

Chris

Re: Help finding a scoop

I'm checking it out right now. The pic of the scoop he offers isn't up anymore, but I dropped him an email to see if he still offers it and anything else that may be useful to the project.

Re: Help finding a scoop

I emailed Mr. Gondeck about the scoop and I haven't received a reply. It's been several days. Is there a better way to reach him? I used the email address that shows for the decals section. I believe it was rgondeck@ something or other.

Re: Help finding a scoop

Oh well. I decided to use the top mounted blower on the car, so it'll just have the top of the blower and the intake sticking up out of the hood.

Something like this....
