Hi from a newbie

Hopefully I am at the right place.

I am trying to build the Revell BMW 320i Gr5 as a fully detailed version of the Mclaren BMW Imsa car,(P.E. parts,Resin bits & some scratch built stuff), but cannot find decals for it. I see that the original Esci kit was produced with the decals I am looking for. Does anyone know where i can find a set??

This is only my third kit, the first was Revell's ford Escort MKII rally (great kit, some fit problems and not very well built!!), the second is a second hand Fujimi BMW E30 M3( Great body, reasonable interior detail, terrible chassis). This is still in progress as a tuner/street racer and may take a while as my imagination keeps running wild! and detailing bits are virtually non existant here in South Africa, so everything must be imported and with an exchange rate of 8 to 1 to the dollar, it gets quite expensive!!

I will try to post some photos, as soon as I figure out how to get them below 80K!! (any advice??)

Thanks for any help that I may be able to recieve.

Matt

Re: Hi from a newbie

Fistly Welcome, secondly srry, can't help you with the decals. Will have look later this day on the online-site I have in my archive. (I am more a type of the new GT1 cars).
That is where the hobby comes expensive and addicted, Here in Amsterdam/Holland I also have to import everything (local hoobyshop with detailstuff closed a year ago). Here is the point where you deside to go on with it and for how much.. But anyway, good luck with the hobbying and searching (hope I don't forget to look for you tonight @ home)
