Re: Auto Vs. Manual

itd be a pretty penny to switch it up to a manual....

as for the exhaust, stick around... depends on what you want.. sort of sound and any performance from it as well

Re: Auto Vs. Manual

A manual wont work on the V6.

If you hav a 4 cyl then it can be done but like Gir said costly.
Pretty sure the mount for the clutch pedal is actually on the firewall already, just up from the brake pedal.
Though you would still need a LOT of other stuff and the PCM replaced/reprogramed, wiring harness's.

Not a fun project at all

On the exhaust it all personal preferance and how much $$ you have.
www.exhaustsoundclips.comhas several types of exhausts, on GA's and other cars.

And Welcome to AF !

Re: Auto Vs. Manual

yuh, any questions about the exhaust, feel free to ask.

Few ideas for now.. you can do a borla cat-back setup ... probly most expensive $600+

SLP exhaust kit, around $400-ish but im sure you can find a deal for it online

Or if you want to use resources, a flowmaster 80 series or any camaro/firebird style exhaust will do the job.

You can find flowmaster 80 series pretty cheap on e-bay... I ordered mine for only $96 flat + shipping. Did a 2.5" exhaust from cat-back at a local muffler shop and that cost me $240 to have it all done and sealed.

Re: Auto Vs. Manual

PFYC used to carry the SLP kit, but they dont now.
I think they were discontinued, so custom exhaust is the way to go.

I too have the flowmaster 80' w/2.5" from cat back and its nice
