Gas Tank Issue
I've been having an odd problem lately (Or it appears to be odd because I cannot find any information on it anywhere). I can't get gas into my tank, but the tank is not full, in fact I have about 1 gallon left in it. And I don't think my gauge is wrong cause I can feel that it's low as I'm driving up hills etc. As soon as I'm pumping (or pouring) gas into it, I get about half a gallon down, then its overflowing out. My conclution is somehow its clogged, or something is prohibiting it from flowing in. Any ideas?

Re: Gas Tank Issue
Take out your filler neck and check it and replace it if needed. thats the first thing I would check before you go and drop the tank.

Re: Gas Tank Issue
I started to detach the filler neck as you suggested. Are the hoses that connect just before the tank (where they clamp) seperable? They seem to be sealed when they were assembled. But as far as I can tell there is nothing pinching the hoses, nor is there any damage. But of course thats not the only possibility that could be clogging the passage.

Re: Gas Tank Issue
I don't know exactly how it is made, but it should disconnect from the quarter panel and from the tank. Not a whole lot of tanks have the filler neck permanently connected to the tank.
