Mika Hakkinen back in F1?

What do you think of that idea? I saw it on news.bbc.co.uk it might happen

It's not going to happen as a driver.

He has signed an advertising contract with one of Mclaren's priciple sponsors, Diageo, for a drive safe campaign which is going to be run globally.

Based on that contract, it would be a contradiction for him to go with any other F1 team and Mclaren have already filled their driver roster for 2007.

If he makes any type of return, I suspect it will be as a technical advisor of some sort.

Keep in mind he has committed for DTM next season from what I hear.

Mika will test for McLaren at Barcelona today Don't read much into that, I'm sure he just wanted to remind himself what it feels like, but it's still nice to see him back.
