Exclamation egr valve problem for mustan

I have an 02 mustang 3.8, ran a diagnostic was told it was my egr valve. I replaced it, engine light was off for a while but, it is back on and it is supposedly my egr valve. Can it be some sensor or what any help would be appreciated.

Re: egr valve problem for mustan

Is your DPFE sensor metal or plastic? What diagnostic code did you get ?
