someone help me figure out what car this is

i dont have a picture but it is a convertible low to the ground with the radiator fan in the front and the rest of the engine in the back the registartion card said 1968 or 69 manta conv (convertible)..i looked up manta convertible and got some corvette concept car that looked nothing like this car..someone help...took pictures on friends phone might be able to upload later

Engine size or markings.
Wheelbase
Rim size
Trans
Also does it look like an import?
Also check the tail or park lites for any print in the lens. Sometimes the mother company is stamped in them.
Look under dash for logos and stamped parts.
