Question Help!!!!!

My drivers side window on my 2005 chevy cavalier is stuck almost all the way down, it had given me trouble before but after playing with it it would go up , its been stuck since yesterday, the windows are power windows and the switch does make a clicking noise when I push it, all the other windows work fine. What to do?????????????????

Re: Help!!!!!

Could it possibly be off the track? Try holding the button and then push the window up with your hand.

Re: Help!!!!!

Its your power window motor.. they die quickly in these cars.. you will have to have it replaced..

And i wouldnt bother with a junk yard part as it will most likely be dead or dying.. I had my mechanic fix it for $225CND.

Usually they will work, then start to get slow.. then sometimes they wont work or only work for a few secs then nothing.. and will work again after another few secs..

If you fix it yourself you can save a few bucks.. but its a pain in the ass, if you do it be sure to lube up the window track while you are in there.
