humming when making a right turn

when ever i make a right turn at 40 or higher the truck hums inside like it's riding on the side of the tire. only right turns. took it to a shop and they said drivers side inner tie rod, rightside outer tie rod, and idler arms. i can't see this being the problem. he also said it could be the cv joint. how do i check them. diffs have plenty of fluid. the other thing is that i tried putting it in 4x4 just to see what happend at like 30mph and what i got was a extreamly loud humming and so i hit it right back out and it kept humming untill i guess the diff switched and then the truck banged real hard. never did it before. i hit a curb and it's started since then. i hit the drivers side front wheel. already had a aliment done on it.

Well, it very well could be the issue (the tie rod).

A worn idler arm will let the vehicle drift left or right when the steering wheel is released. Worn tie rods will affect the toe of the vehicle, which will cause a tire to roll on its side in a higher-speed turn! The two can combine to produce something nasty. If this has started after you curbed it, then my suggestion is physical damage in the steering hardware - tie rods are suspect. If the idler arm is worn, replace it! These can break and experience tells me that when they do, you find yourself no longer driving the vehicle, you're just along for the ride.
