What you are saying is, you were not getting spark and you decided to change the ECM. After doing so, you now have spark but no power to your injectors?

Why did you change the ECM? How do you know you are now getting a spark? How do you know the injector is not receiving a signal?

Re: 1987 escort

You can check for spark by pulling the spark plugs, keep them connected, and crank the engine remotely. You can watch the plug then, and see if there's spark. Also, finding a simple spark checker is cheap and easy. The best way I've found of checking the power for a fuel injector, especially on CFI, is to just use a typical 12v ford dash light, and plug it into the injector connector. If it is pretty dull looking when you try to start the car, then you're fine. If it's bright, like a normal 12v light should be, then you have too much voltage going to the injector, and if the light doesn't turn on, then you don't have voltage going to the injector, in which case you should start tracing the wires back to the ecu and see if anything is burnt/melted/having high resistance.
