sohc to dohc swith
i have a 98 3000gt..sohc..im planning on having my heads ported out..but..i was wondering if i could buy a dohc set of heads and i was wondering if it is that easy to do a dohc switch? would you have to change much..obviously timing belt and a few belts..anything else??? thanks guys

^^ Unfortunately it is much more complicated than that. Instead of me writing everything down here is a link:
http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread....ight=sohc+dohc If you are that intent on having a DOHC 3/S sell your SOHC and buy a DOHC. Much much much easier and you can find them for a reasonable price.

Theres better threads around for hte swap but the easoest way to put it is its not worth it. If you are swapping you might as well got TT. For all the crap you need to do a swap and for the small amount of power gain you get it just doesnt make sense.
