When you say the cooling system doesn't work, do you mean the cooling fan is inop,or the fan works,& still overheats?

Ok my friend! Look up, the fan works perfectly I've been cheching the wirings, the coolant sensor temperature and the relay, all that works ok, but I don't know why does not activate it when overheat, that is my question.

Re: Dodge Lancer 1986

The Lancer used same 4 cyl engines as Aries/Reliant, if you can find info on those cars, should be similar to the Lancer. You say that everthing checks out OK, is there voltage to the fan motor when temp is too hot? You say ccolant temp sensor is ok but also state can't find info on the car, temp sensor has to have a certain reading at certain water temp. Coolant fan is activated by the computer reading the signal from the coolant temp sensor.
