oil leaks
seeing & burning oil odor @ idle. are they any common oil leaks on the accord. thanks cnibs

When you replace oil filter oil pours right on the exhaust pipe.
If your filter is not tight enough that might be one of the spots. Sam

Valve cover gasket can also cause a buring oil smell. Wash down the engine when it is cold. Use a strong degreaser or solvent and then rinse with water. After driving it for a couple miles look for new oil around the gasket.

I cleaned the engine over the weekend. So far, no complaints from the little woman but will check this weekend for any fresh oil from valve cover.

I will check the oil filter, the little women had the vehicle serviced at a quick lube place recently.

what year accord?? older accords are known for rocker shaft seals, dizzy o-rings, and oil psi switches...ok yeah...opg's 2
