V12 Pleasure (in progress) - Fujimi Ferrari 365GTB/4 Daytona

One of my all time favorite Ferraris (and that's saying something because I'm a diehard tifosi who'll even be cheering Raikkonen next year) is by far the brutiful Daytona, nicknamed after Ferrari's vengeance of the 1967 Daytona 24 Hours.

Naturally, there's really only one way to build this car, and that's with the Fujimi Enthusiast series kit. I'm quite a ways through this astonishing kit (and some of you are already aware of the decal situation I ran into because it's an original issue), and I decided to post what I have so far. Hopefully, after the arrival of some Studio 27 goodies and a fresh decal sheet, she'll be in the finished category.

The frame picture was taken before the interior was built-up to the point that I could attach it. I wish the body had been in good shape on that sunny day, but after a wet-sanding session that burned through to the primer, I dunked her in brake fluid and resprayed her with Testors Lacquer GM Flame Red.

V nice V12 project!
I think that "brutiful" is a great descriptor for this car!

I also have 2 of these to do a "Street and Track" themed project. I am having trouble finding an after market track livery thouhgh
