94 530i does not start when cranking

Ok, what are some other reasons it would not start besides no fuel or spark? Could the factory alarm cause this? Other sensors? There are no codes. Any help would be great....thanks.

Re: 94 530i does not start when cranking

I just saw a pattern to your posts and, although I don't know the history of how your "no start" condition began, I have posted a link that may help you out with your troubleshooting. The M60B30 and M60B40 have a history of leaky gaskets which, when they leak bad enough, your car won't even start. Hopefully this link will point you in the right direction.

Thanks everyone!! After troubleshooting the heck out of it I deduced it was the crank sensor, I pulled one from my other 94 530 "parts" car and it started right up!!! I apreciate all the help, thank you all.
