My very first AF political rant

Simply put, I am completely pissed off witht he way we allow our government to walk all over us. They shouldn't be the one's with the power right? Shouldn't it be all of us? I thought thats what our system is based on... you know... voting.
I like those comedic shows that mock politics, because as the saying goes, "many a truth are spoken in jest". For as funny as it is though, the underlying fact is that we are continually controlled and manipulated.
Not only the American government, but my Canadian government as well. I'm not saying that I could run a country, im sure its pretty hard, but I am saying that if somebody led a couple million people against tyranny, I'd be right there. One of the biggest crimes should be fucking people when they are trusting you.
I am so sick of hearing about schandal and corruption, and knowing that we don't stand up as a people and oust these fuckers right away. It is possible you know. It is.
We are just as controlled as we've ever been, the only difference is that now we have a lot of gagets and work hours to distract us and drain us of any motivation to stand up and take back what belongs to us... namely, justice and dignity.
