I say 95. they look best IMO. And buy from a dealership, a Honda one, they are certified and will last you, guaranteed. plus you can haggle a little and get 'em cheap, like $6,000. seriously, got mine last year for $6,100 from a Honda dealership.
just my 2 cents.

Why 95+.. Why not 92+.. they are all about the same.. Id just do alot of research... drive both generations.. see which one you like better.. Look around, dont buy the first one you find cause you may regret it.
Ill sell you my car if you want a 97.. *L*

The 5th gen Civics are lighter, the frame is less rigid than the 6th gen. The suspension is the same on both. The 6th gen Civic 's interior is more refined.
The 5th gen Civic runs OBDI emissions system which is easier to mod as far as electronics, turbos, and custom computers like the ones at www.hondata.com The 6th gen Civic puts out maybe -2 more HP at the wheels, mainly because of the head design. The 6th gens head is more effiecient, with the air to fuel mixture, and also ups the compression. ![]() The 5th gens are cheaper and you can find an EXA, an EX with 4 wheel disc w/ anti-lock braking. You make the call.
