Thumbs up Spring time Plans for Car

Hey all;
Just wanted to post an update on the what my plans are for the Talon this coming Spring. I'm not going to be doing anything at all over the winter. The way it is now is how it's staying until it gets warm again. I just got new tires yesterday for my stockers which I'm going to keep on even after winter, and I'm getting an alignment tomorrow afternoon. So here's the plans:

-Head Swap (ported, rebuilt, stage 2 cams... the works)
-Ported Intake Manifold
-New gaskets on top half
-MLS HG
-New IAC
-EGR Block Off???
-New gauges in pillar pod (black-face)
-Carbon Fiber center vent replacement (holds SAFC and 2 gauges)
-Rewire and perfect hook up of all gauges (half-assed right now)
-New Water Pump???
-New Oil Pump???
-New Timing Belt
-New Tensioners???
-Rattle Patrol (Stopping crap from rattling)
-And a Good Ole Tuning

Sounds good? Anything else you think I should do? I'm open for ideas and suggestions on anything!

Re: Spring time Plans for Car

The first thing I would do is maintanence. If you are scheduled to change your timing belt and related components, due all that first. Hell, might as well put the head in at that time as well.

When you say, black-faced gauges, do you mean the tinted ones. because my talon had a tinted boost gauge and you couldnt see it for shit during the daylight...I wish I had gone with the "clear" ones. Just something to consider...

Re: Spring time Plans for Car

Timing belt and all will be at that the same time as the head swap. It doesn't make sense to not do it, or do it later.

I have clear ones now and they look cheap as hell. The ones im looking at are black when the car is off, but light up pretty bright so you can see them in daylight.
