Re: speedometer & odometer not working

I see you have another post for the HVAC blower motor

You may have a fuse or fuses out or a break in the power wiring.
Are these the only things out? Check the fuses. Double check that nothing else is out, such as cruise control, ABS, 4WD buttons. This will give clues as to where the problem is.

The 1999 blazer has fuses in 2 locations: under the hood above the left fender in a black plastic box and on the left side of the dash at the driver's door hinge area.

At the dash fuse block Fuse 9-HVAC is for blower control circuit if you have manual AC, or Fuse-21 if you have climate control.
Fuses-4, 11, 19 are for various parts of the instrument panel. Are the other gauges working?

Under the hood there is a 30amp fuse marked HVAC which is for blower power circuit.

Post back after you check the fuses.

not too sure what hes talking about but sounds to me you've got a busted spedo cable... or it may have been disconnected. now i wish there was an easyer way to do this but your going to need to remove your gauge cluster and on the back there should be a cable and 1 or more wiring harnesses. if there is no cable attached look for one in the housing somewhere. its unlikely someone pulled it out but they do occationaly fall out.
however if there is one there chances are its broken and your going to need to purchase a new cable. this cable goes from the transmission to the spedo/odo. go to your favorite parts store and ask for a spedo cable for your rig. most of the tim they will carry it in stock but they may have to order it. while your there also inquire about a repair manual as this will relieve some headaches about installing the cable..... (you may wanna get a manual first so you can see how to remove the cluster)

i hope this helps!!

You should keep all your problems in one post, this is just confusing.

First I have to ask, why did you buy a truck that has problems?

On speedometer.
Your speedometer does not have a cable on it.
It is all Electronic controlled.
As said fuses and wiring and check speed sensor.
On heater I think they said you have another post.

A 99 does not have a speedometer cable.
