Question Wont start and Rough at hwy speeds

Im hoping someone will have some idea of what the problem might be. I have a 1993 mazda mx3 that i bought about 8 months ago. Ran fine in the summer. Now that its getting colder im getting a few major problems. The car will randomly not start. Example will not start for two days then i will go to start it on the third day and it will start like a champ. Iv noticed that the weather may have some impact on this. It seems when it is cold out it has the starting issue. Another problem i am having is when i am driving around 110 or when i push my car to hard the rpms will jump to 1000 and my car will make a banging noise and i will not get any response when i put my foot on the peddle. Anyone have any ideas?? I have taken it in the have it looked at about 7 times to diffrent shops. No one can seem to figure out whats going on.

Re: Wont start and Rough at hwy speeds

take it to the dealer. sound like you have and electrical issue for the first thing. the second think sound like spark knock, try using 91 or 93 octane gas and a good fuel system cleaner. post me a way to contact you personal or email to get full detail.

Watch the new distributor the GS has a lot of TSB(tech service bulletins) about lil stupid stuff if ur seatbelts dont track back ne more take it ot mazda i can get fixed for free just lil xtra tips but the Dist inside are cheap crap plastic and they usually arch and crack and the rotor will arch it to hell all around i toasted 4 Dist i have a 93 mazda mx3 1.8L v6 with a custom turbo i run low 12s with the mods if u got a new dist u should change your plugs and wires its ez self do it stuff and makes a HUGE difference ive noticed with the 1.8L its very tempermental with eletrical and fuel the smallest stuff throws it way out of wack.
