Interior dome light won't work sometimes

I had a problem with the ignition switch on my Accord awhile ago. The car stopped completely - I took it to a repair shop where they replaced the switch and the steering column cable set.

At that time, they undid my alarm system which had been tied into the
cable set - alas I had no alarm, so I took the car to an alarm/audio shop who re-hooked up my alarm, starter kill and door locks - just like before - all was
great or so I thought!

Now my interior light will not operate when opening the two front doors - It works OK when switched manually, and it works when I de-energize the alarm using the key fob - for getting into a dark car at night, you know, it stays lit for 20 seconds or so.

Do you think this is a problem with the alarm re-installation? That's the only thing thet has been changed after my ignition switch failure.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Earl

Yeah, sounds like the missed a wire somewhere. Take it back to them and have them fix it. They should do it for free since it was their mistake.
