Post Replacing Low Beam Bulb 02 Rendezvous

Can somoene tell me how to replace the low beam 9006 headlight bulb on my 02 Rendezvous? It looks inaccessible.

I hope you have replaced the bulb by now, if not it should be very easy. I have not replaced a bulb, but if you look behind the lens you will see the socket. All you have to do is squeeze the socket and turn at the same time. The socket should come loose and you can change the bulb. Let me know if you need additional help. I tried to explain the best I could!

I did replace it but it wasn't so simple. You have to unscrew a wing-style bolt which fastens the assembly to the fender inside and then lift a white plastic bracket which hold the assembly to the body of the car. You then remove the assembly to gain access to the bulb holder. The high beams do not require this amount of work. I also replaced a fog lamp bulb from underneath the vehicle. Akward but doable.
