Windshield wiper problem
Hey guys, I just got a 1997 3000GT and I'm having a problem with my winshield wipers, I keep blowing the stupid fuse for them. I thought maybe it had something to do with the way the amp was wired in the car, so I completely disconnected it, and the wipers would actually work for a little while after that. But tonight, I tried to use them, and they got about half way up the window, then the fuse went again. Now everytime I put a fuse in, it's back to blowing as soon as I turn the key to the on position. Anybody have an idea on what I should be looking for to fix this? Thanks.

Re: Windshield wiper problem
look at the wires in the plug that goes into the wiper motor, somethings shorting.

Re: Windshield wiper problem
Think I located the problem. If I unplug my rear wiper motor, the fuse doesn't pop. For now I just left it disconnected, but I'm assuming I have some sort of problem with the wiper motor. I guess it's one more thing to put on my list of things to fix. lol
That's a damn nice looking 3kGT you have there Twizted. |

For the back, there should be a button to the right of the steering wheel, on hte dash. For the water on the front, pull the wiper lever towards you (the driver).

Re: Windshield wiper problem
you may have something clogging the jets (dirt, old wax). Us a small needle to clear it out. can you hear it pumping?
