Power/Economy Switch

So yeah... I got the replacement eco/pow switch from my local mitsu dealership... problem is this... I have tried 3 or 4 times to get that part of the console out to replace the old one (gummed up and doesn't work) I can not seem to get anywhere near the thing no matter how hard I try... how is this done?

Re: Power/Economy Switch

I don't have active exhaust, where does the button go, refresh my memory. In any case, all those button panels in my car, I'm able to pry and pop up with a flathead screwdriver.

Re: Power/Economy Switch

^^ My guess is that he has the ATX. The pwr/eco switch is located at the top left on the shift column. However, when it comes to installing it, I have no idea.

Re: Power/Economy Switch

Yeah I was here before... After blowing an engine, getting exhaust work and stripping the back end... I'm back.. & now my 3kgt is a project car with a 2007 accent as my driver/winter car so yeah... thanx for the warm welcome.

BTW what do you mean by "ATX"? this is not a term I've heard Of yet... can you explain the differences of it to me?

ATX = Auto transmission, as opposed to manual.

Re: Power/Economy Switch

Mainly because I'm a broke performance guy... + my switch doesn't work & I've always wanted to know if it makes any real difference... not to mention, if you love your car you want everything to work right?

Re: Power/Economy Switch

It would be easier (by far) and cheaper and faster to drop in a 6g72TT.

SL3000GT meant why go to the trouble to put a 4G63 turbo into your car when you can just slap on 2 turbos from a 3000GT VR4 or Dodge Stealth TT. they will bolt right up. the 6G72 engine is what is in your car, its in every 3000GT/Stealth.
