WANTED: t28 turbo for r33 gtst: HELP!
Hi ppl im after a turbo for my r33 gtst series2. want it the same size and to fit the same oil and water lines. i heard u cant boost the stock turbo past 11psi so i want one same size but stronger. i dont wanna spend rediculous money also lol

The factory turbo is actually a ball bearing cored T3, with a ceramic exhaust wheel. There is no cheap option to fit an upgraded turbo as the T28 is actually smaller and will not bolt onto your exhaust manifold.
Only option is to get the factory turbo hi-flowed(around $1200 for a full rebuild) which will turn it into a T3/T4. Buying a cheap turbo from eBay, often means that it has not been balanced or made/assembled in China, so do not expect it to last very long... Also, keep in mind that the stock ECU will not let you run more than about 14psi anyway without hitting boost cut(ECU sees to much air going thru AFM and then cuts fuel to protect engine) Factory turbo is safe to around 12psi and even running 11psi is enough to scare most R33 owners...
